This project was carried out for a month and a half, at the Mahanaim Centro Rural y Arte foundation, located in the El Caucho de Barichara village, Santander- Colombia. The exploration ended with 320 km traveled on foot knowing the territory and collecting valuable information from its living beings, the plausible work of its farmers and the knowledge of their techniques have been the food of this work.

The visual arts are the key to transform this experience into images with which I try to translate and poeticize my life in relation to the other and their traditional practices, which if not supported are close to extinction in the midst of this globalized world. The stories of the people and the knowledge that already existed in me, are the sieve to elaborate this study of the land to which I arrive as a stranger, but treat me as the same.

That duality between country and city, industry and commerce, nature and culture is what connects infinite points of my practice with life with the Yellowfoot. As a result, an installation was made, where different media, photography, sculpture, found objects, fabrics, take the viewer through systems that indicate cultural connectivity and as a rhizome a root is made to grow in each event and space as an act of resistance to this multicultural contemporary society.
